Anticipates Profitability in 2000
CHARLTON, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Dec. 20, 1999--FiberCore, Inc. (Symbol FBCE).

FiberCore, a leading manufacturer of optical fiber and preform for the telecommunications and data communications market, with production facilities in Jena, Germany announced that it expects the Company's 1999 revenues to set a new record and that fourth quarter revenues for 1999 will be at least 35% higher than 3rd quarter revenues, for another record quarter.

Furthermore the Company expects continuing sales improvement in the year 2000. FiberCore's Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Dr. Mohd Aslami noted, the Company intends to capitalize on the strong demand for optical fiber on a worldwide basis, now that its products have achieved acceptance in all major markets.
