There was a Biography show about Alan Greenspan on A&E the other night. It was interesting. He used to make lots of forecasts, but has done his best to say nothing in particular for the last few years. That's because everything he say's or does causes rumors (The Fed watchers even report on how thick his briefcase is and whether he looks at the Fed building as he crosses the street). He is also a proponent of the Fed doing as little as possible and letting the markets sort themselves out.

Aloha Geoff and Edamo! Re: your "discussion" of Alan Greenspan. I just finished a book entitled "The Greenspan Effect", fascinating reading about a truly interesting man. I think you will find support for both of your positions. Enigma comes to mind when trying to describe him.
PS After trading Dell for the past 7 months, I now believe Dell is on its way again, though at a somewhat slower pace than the past. I may even convert some of my trading shares to long term. Good luck
Cheers
