I would agree that WJC was not actually humiliated, [which further frustrated his enemies]. I remember watching the Man go from feeling genuine humility and remorse for his mistake, to taking a defiant dignified posture.

I still don't blame him.

The exposure of the finger wagging denial on National TV of sex with an intern as an abject lie, would be enough to make a normal man want to crawl into bed and never get out.

In an earlier age, a President with dignity would have resigned rather than besmirching the office by having to even make such a denial.

...it would be impossible to humiliate Clinton. That would imply the man had some sort of moral compass or personal honor.
