Watching block buys on Level 2 for 100K and 200K shares at 87 bucks. Someone is buying and not your average joe.

TecInvestor:

I would not sell either AOL or QCOM at this time, as I see them higher next year. However, I will add to my QCOM position after the split, since I am a believer that wireless will be the next big thing in tech, and QCOM is best positioned to succeed.

However, I am predicting a swift correction by February 2000. I hope I am wrong about this, though!

Best of luck,

John

Tecinvestor -

would you sell QCOM to buy AOL? Conversely, would you sell AOL to buy QCOM? Just curious.

I would not sell QCOM to buy AOL. I think QCOM will grow tremendously over the next couple of years and is my largest holding. I have sold AOL in the past to buy QCOM, but I like AOL's prospects for the future and am going to keep it at the level I am at right now (currently my 4th largest holding behind QCOM, CMGI, and GMST).

I still feel that this market has a ways to go (up) before any correction happens. Also, I feel that when this correction does happen, it will be short and then return to a strong upward movement.

This is all IMHO for what that's worth! :)
