It isn't libel if the person is a "public figure," such as a politician, media figure, or CEO, where the facts of the matter can be easily established. Also, a malicious intent must be proved. Further, damage to one's reputation must be proved. Did this message have a malicious intent or damage the CEOs reputation?

Libel is not illegal. Libelous speech is subject to civil action, however. It's a different matter if a poster is anonymously revealing company secrets... there are a variety of laws that protect intellectual property.
