Goody goody goody: PE Corp. Celera declines comment on stock surge NEW YORK, Dec 20 (Reuters) - PE Corp. Celera Genomics Group (NYSE:CRA - news) declined to comment on the sharp rise in its stock price, the New York Stock Exchange said on Monday. Since Friday's open, PE Corp. Celera shares have risen nearly 36 percent, to 107-1/8 at midday on Monday. The NYSE said it had asked the company to issue a statement indicating whether there were any corporate developments that might explain the rise. In response, PE Corp. Celera said it was company policy not to comment on unusual market activity in its stock.
