Why MGIC will soar more.. 1999 and 2000 are expected to see profitable operations at Magic Software Enterprises. Magic Software Enterprises develops, publishes, markets and supports a family of software tools, which are used to develop software programs without writing any lines of computer code as is required in conventional programming languages.

Earnings in the area of $1.25 per share are currently forecasted for 1999. This would represent improvement from the prior year loss of
$-1.13 per share. For 2000 earnings are expected to increase again, with per share results in the area of $1.70
currently forecasted.

From Saturday's LA Times Business Section - about MGIC

Magic Software Enterprises Ltd., an Irvine e-commerce services provider whose stock price has more than doubled in the past six weeks, said Friday that it
plans to acquire a majority interest in a Netherlands business partner. Magic signed a letter of intent Friday to buy 51% of CasWell Logistics BV, an
Amsterdam-based software developer that Magic has worked with for the past 12 years. Financial details of the proposed acquisition were not disclosed. The
deal, pending shareholder approval, is expected to close in the next few months, Magic officials said. Upon closing, the Netherlands firm will be renamed CasWell
Magic Logistics BV. Also on Friday, Magic closed its previously announced majority acquisition of its Hungarian software distributor, Onyx Software Enterprises
Ltd. Financial details were not disclosed. The acquisition gives Magic a 51% chunk of the newly renamed Magic Onyx Software Enterprises Hungary KFT.
Magic's stock price dropped $1.50 Friday, closing at $66.50 a share on Nasdaq.

Merrill Lynch Report on MGIC Part I messages.yahoo.com

With major new contracts in the Netherlands, Australia, Italy, Germany, and
France, Magic should see 70% top-line growth from USD60mn in 1999 to USD100mn in 2000. Net income is forecast to grow from USD10mn to USD17mn in
the same period excluding any sales of the Lynox tool.

Don't just listen to hype who want to push down a good company. Shorters might get a few points here and there but MGIC is here to stay IMHO..
