I think it has been Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt--FUD.
Right this moment, it is arbitrage.

For those that purchased on early summer run up, it might
be tax related, but that is not the whole story. We have
lanquished ever since TBFC announcement in June.

maybe it is because E-Trade's market share is way up. Maybe it's because their volume of trade commissions is way up. Maybe it is because of all their foreign and domestic partners to make growth overtake competitors. Actually, I don't know why it is down 5% today when it should be up 5% instead (based on all the great business moves they are doing).

i don't think this is etrade specific. all of the olbs are down and have been languishing along with etrade.

if etrade was the only olb down then i'd be concerned.
