CMGI has made big moves up and down. They worry that people who buy or short and do it on margin may run into trouble.

Schwab did this a while back and just waiting for the New Year before I close my account with them. I have to sell CMGI and buy ADFC since ADFC is marginable. I think other investors fell the same way with Schwab.

What's up with *THAT*...

I b*tch and moan about it a lot, too, but if they had let me margin it, I would have done so to the hilt back in April, and I would have had my a*s handed to me on a silver platter this summer with margin calls instead of being up X hundred percent since then....
