Well, Zhirinovsky and his bloc made it into the new Duma. But he's a paper tiger, anyway. Haven't you noticed that the Zhirinovskyites have almost always voted to support the government? Now, there is talk of forming a pro-government coalition in the new Duma, involving "Unity" (the government party), the "Union of Rightist Forces" (Chubais et al.), and -- the Zhirinovsky Bloc. I'd be more worried about Putin, if I were you, than about Zhirinovsky, for all the latter's entertainment value. Joan
