Hearing you loud and clear as one of those who are heavy on AMD calls...I just think the risk element right now for AMD longs is less than it has ever been and I've positioned myself accordingly...Conversely, the INTC threat to AMD, although always a possibility, is less today than at any time in recent history...

The PWeeIII has shown serious signs of fatigue in keeping pace with the Athlon, fatigue signs that I've not seen before from an INTC competitor...and fatigue signs that may stem from an overstressed architecture and as such may well be signs of more serious PWeeIII fatigue problems ahead...

My assessment is based upon "what is", not what some here would "like it to be" and on that basis, AMD, imho, would be cheap at double today's price of $29.25.
