TD; The only people that were Jews that Jesus got mad at were the pharisees and saducees* who were the political Clintons of their day. Yup, they need to do a little reading.* A very true statement. I myself do not play up on the Chosen issue but I am sure Gods hand is on Israel. For all I know I may not be Jewish and those that feel they are not Jewish may be Jewish one cannot trace their lineage all the way back. What is important is God knows who his chosen are. They think of me as some religious Jew that goes to Temple every week. The truth is I may have gone twice in my life. Calling Israel a State set up by satan is disgusting and Anti-God. Not liking Jews is their right but I think it would be in better taste if the few who feel this way would keep it to themselves. On your above statement I feel it holds very true even today. We all know about the going to Hell routine and those who claim to be teachers. History has never changed and never will till Christ returns. Alan

Greetings Truedog, << The Jews are God's chosen people. >>. They "were" indeed Gods chosen people according to the promise made to Abraham in Gen 12:3, " and in you all the families of the earth will be blessed. ". Israels primary " chosedness " was that through them the Messiah would come which He did nearly 2000 years ago. God's Salvation is now open to ALL nations and peoples ( Jews and Gentiles). Israel was indeed the people of God under the old covenant but since Calvary the Salvation of God is extended to " all " Peoples under a New and Better Covenant. The people of God since Calvary is now comprised of ALL nations ( Jew and Gentile ) called the Church, the Body of Christ, a Holy Nation, a Royal Priesthood. This is the True Israel of God. To ascribe some importance to a piece of real estate in the Meditteranean( Israel)with its continual rejection of Jesus Christ as the promised Messiah is really a failure to properly understand the Words of the Bible.( Old and New Covenants). What you promote, sadly to say regarding the apostate and anti-christ nation of Israel is largely due to the fact that most Christians do not search for truth themselves from Gods Word regarding who is the true Israel today. Most above ground churches in North America have bought in to this heresy and are feeding it to gullible and sleeping Christians. I trust that before you reply with any hostility of what I have said you will at least re-examine for yourself what the Holy Scriptures really are saying. Sincerly in Christ, Robert
