Tom, I was shocked by the Raiders. Talk about an inconsistent team. They play like the horses I bet on. They beat folks they shouldn't and lose to those they should beat. But, hey, they may just hobble into the playoffs and then it is anyone's title this year. I mean, who can take the Rams and the Jaguars seriously as favorites? Which reminds me of the three cardinal rules of gambling: 1. Never bet more than you can afford to lose.
2. Never double up when you are losing. 3. Never bet on the dog-assed Rams. <g>

Gene is now back to where it was 4 years ago, so I'm not buying puts on it. The internut and IT crowd is much better put fodder, IMHO. But I am slowly scaling out of my biotech winners. I can't believe I got my last piece of Medarex off at 22 and change, and that wasn't even the high. Whoa! And Cephalon is beginning to look like 1995 all over again.
