John,
(I needed another expresso!)
Our weather has adjusted temps downwards toward end of week here in PA also, though you don't see that unless you pull up their update forecast

****
BY WEDNESDAY...THE FIRST DAY OF WINTER...LIGHT SNOW SHOWERS AND COLDER TEMPERATURES ARE EXPECTED ACROSS THE AREA. THESE CONDITIONS WILL PREVAIL ACROSS THE STATE THROUGH THE END OF THE WEEK. HIGHS ARE FORECAST TO BE IN THE 20S AND 30S...WITH OVERNIGHT LOWS IN THE TEENS
AND 20S.
****

and you wouldn't know unless you knew the forecast a couple days ago was for highs in the 30's, not 20's and 30's as now.

While investors tax sale pressure is on and fundies are chasing techs not oils, I don't think we will see much recovery until after New Years. Of course if there are any Y2K effects in the worlds oil fields, even small to moderate ones, there won't be time to catch the first half of that rally.

Breaks over, back to the moneytrap (that is the house, not the market
ggggggggg)

Best Regards,

Roebear

John:
Both oil and NG will be going up by Thursday. By then, it will be extremely cold on Wall Street. If it's cold on Wall Street, then it must be cold everywhere. :):)
Good fortune in your investing.
Cordially,
RBlatch
