X, if you look at an LT gold chart, you can see that the sell-off after the BOE announcement had all the hallmarks of a capitulation. what we have seen since (including the run-up following the ECB announcement) was merely a blip on the road toward normalization imo. the only market moves i can discern that have remotely to do with Y2K are the strength in the dollar and the melt-up in stocks. the former due to a mild case of capital flight and the latter due to the market's heroin dealer AG and his free money through the backdoor program.
