sad thing about politics...
Bush has such a commanding lead

in the money race

that he is a fool to open his mouth and say much of anything.

The way to win with the lead he has now is to not say much unless a real contender comes up. He also doesn't want to bash potential VP candidates and they don't want to bash him.

Listen to a debate (I get a dose of it on the stairmaster watching the PBS News hour)and you will find that the candidates are tossing up softballs for the leader to smack out of the park.

Radio guys...often easier to join in the put downs than to do any original analysis of the what and why that is being said such as the snippet I just gave.

after all, it is entertainment!
