The age-old populist lament; William Jennings Bryan would be proud. One might wonder how you would perceive the risks of a perpetually easy money regime. Would you view it as desirable if the Dow went to 100,000 tomorrow?

But I digress. The point I wish to make is that there is a dark side to the socialization of risk that pervades the global financial system. Just ask any formerly middle-class Thai or Indonesian. Serious reform is needed, primarily to transfer the risks more to financial institution stakeholders and away from society as a whole.

And to respond in equally gratuitous (if not childish) fashion, I too work for a living. Does this prevent you from thinking objectively?
