Thanks for asking an intelligent question on this thread. Regarding Y2K, I have a little understanding of the various issues involves because of some work I have observed at a nuclear power plant in this country. In general, the potential impact of y2k is directly proportional to the reliance on susceptible technology. It would be my guess that the drilling program would not be impacted by Y2K, but technology used for assay analysis may need fixed. In many cases a quick temporary fix for processes that are not overly complex involves simply changing the clocks back. It is likely that those responsible for processes that require more complex solutions are also intelligent enough to have understood this prior to 12/31/99. An assay company that relied on its technology for its business would have fixed the equipment if necessary. Even in Chile. Excellent thread topic.
