SR, maybe the dealers who bought all those options from the Fed don't want them to expire worthless? <ggg> seriously, what's brewing is Y2K and what the Fed is doing about it (i.e. print money at breakneck speed). whichever way you slice it, event or non-event, the debt markets just can't bring themselves to like it. of course, the Nasdaq market and the darlings of speculation therein, make like nothing's happening...this is complacency at it's finest. regards, hb
