i guess it all comes down to how bad do you want it fixed. if you're willing to research it and look around, then i'm betting that the answer is out there.

coincidently, i was just printing out the multipass readme file as we were speaking. and this item stood out:

" If you install the application Xerox PagisPro 97 AFTER installing MultiPASS Desktop Manager 3.0, you must re-install Desktop Manager again before using it. This is because PagisPro 97 will incorrectly overwrite some system files during installation (i.e. MFC42.DLL), and replace them with older versions not compatible with Desktop Manager 3.0."
