< What values would that be other than mindless greed > The Internet is a medium for stating the Truth. I define Truth in the Great Greek Classical Tradition as Unconcealment. The Greek word for statement is Logos. Statements are statements of Truth as stars are stars of the sky. The Information Age affirms the Internet as the primary medium for expressing the Truth. Truth is communicable. Truth comes to language. Truth is the spoken human word that is transmitted and shared with millions of people through the Internet. In this fashion, we participate in the ongoing process of Truth, as we wrestle with new ideas and concepts and debate their meaning and meaninglessness and thereby enrich our own lives. Values are created. Greed is a human concept that has been around as long as humans. Take the mythical first human, Adam: he was greedy for knowledge so he told his supposed creator to take a walk when he was told not to eat from the so called tree of knowledge. Greed takes on many shapes and forms. It does not just represent love of money. It can represent love of knowledge, or above all, love of wisdom or even love of humanity. I'm not saying or implying that I'm right here and your wrong. Truth goes beyond right and wrong. What I am saying is that stocks are being reevaluated fundamentally speaking, in accordance with the Internet, as the new primary engine of economic growth. Judgement Day is a daily event on Wall Street. One is entitled to not like the human judgement or valuation, but it is an ongoing daily process that is fought for in a free market and in a free society.
