Mr. Thomas Crom reports
Timebeat.com will launch a Millennium Madness promotion to run on Dec. 26 and
27, 1999. This promotion offers discriminating consumers the opportunity to bid on
some of the finest timepieces and jewelry that Timebeat has to offer.
During the two days of Millennium Madness, consumers may submit a bid to
Timebeat by E-mail (madness@timebeat.com) on any and all items the company
offers. Timebeat will review the bids and respond within 24 to 48 hours whether the
bid has been accepted or with the minimum bid Timebeat will accept for any given
item.
Continuing advertising and the recently announced business ventures with
DealTime, Traffic Results, ShopitAll.com and Watchzone.net have increased Web
site traffic and volume dramatically. All sales derived from the increased traffic
have been successfully shipped in time for the holiday season.
Thomas Crom, chairman of Timebeat.com, commented: "With the increased traffic
and sales from our affiliations and advertising promotions, we believe our holiday
and after holiday sales will surpass our expectations. Our extended warranty
program has had a tremendous effect on closing sales. We are planning to extend it
until January for post-holiday shoppers."
WARNING: The companyr relies upon litigation protection for "forward-looking"
statements.
