I just bought the new Panasonic, and I am very happy with it. I thought it had a better picture than the Sony.

Lucas,

I am looking to buy a high-end 35" or 36" TV that has the following features:

35-36" Gemstar enabled TVs at my local Circuit City:

JVC AV36D800

RCA F36645
RCA F36665

PROSCAN PS36500
PROSCAN PS36600
PROSCAN PS36700

SONY KV35V68

Sharp and Zenith HDTV's with Gemstar inside are out. Also recently shipping are analog models from Philips and Zenith.

Regards
Stew

I am looking to buy a high-end 35" or 36" TV that has the following features:

1) Guide Plus
2) Relatively flat screen.
3) Tunable Picture-in-Picture.

Does anyone have any recommendations? My wife is urging me to get a Sony so I guess that is also a requirement. TIA for any help.

we recently purchased the sony 35" with gem and pip and are very pleased. we have the cable box for music stations and pip doesn't work with the box... am considering letting the box go back and using fm again.

i liked the 36 too but it was just slightly too wide for my cabinet.

purchased the set at sound advice, juno beach, florida. delivery guys set it up.
hope this helps.
