Dear SJS: Your profile doesnt tell me much about you so I will assume you are young and perhaps less experienced then myself in the wily ways of the world. If I am wrong, forgive me. Anyhow, shorters and other nasty types of people have been known to release tidbits of negative info. for their own dubious means. That appeared to me to be an example. They know the market is extremely fragile and any negative news can adversely affect a stock. While taken in the whole context the statement MAY have been correct, taken as a part without the entire meaning of the original statement it is nothing more then an attempt to shake the stock price. Doesnt last long as you likely noticed once people see the WHOLE picture but it can result in a favorable trade at the moment. If there is ANYONE here who doubts the financial strength of EMC I think I could find some nice swamp land here in S. Fla. I could sell them for a premium. JDN
