Xybernaut(R) Announces Linux Partnership with SBS
e.V.

Fifty Member Companies Join Xybernaut in Supplying Linux Applications for Corporate
Solutions

FAIRFAX, Va., Dec. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Xybernaut Corporation (Nasdaq: XYBR - news), the leader in wearable
computing, today announced that it has established a partnership with the Software Zentrum Boblingen/Sindelfingen e.V.
(''SBS''), a consortium of over fifty software development companies, to establish a center of excellence for Linux application
development and support. Dr. Edwin Vogt, Xybernaut's executive vice president, European Operations, has been named to
lead these worldwide Linux development activities.

Dr. Vogt commented that, ''So far, the Linux operating system has been more widely accepted in Europe by large corporate
enterprises than in the United States. Several Xybernaut customers are currently running the Mobile Assistant® IV (MA
IV(TM)) with Linux operating systems with excellent results. We have validated several versions of Linux on the MA IV,
including Suse and Red Hat, and we offer the MA IV with StarOffice under Linux as well. As more businesses recognize the
productivity advantage of the MA IV, we expect that we will see more interest in Linux applications, especially in networked
environments. With the establishment of this Linux development group, Xybernaut can harness the creativity and software
experience of the SBS as the springboard to worldwide development of Linux applications. These efforts will ensure that we
can provide our customers with expanded solutions and service regardless of the operating system choice they have made.''

Edward Newman, Xybernaut's president and CEO added, ''Now that we have successfully integrated both voice and video
drivers onto Mobile Assistants running under Linux, we are moving rapidly to provide the specific applications required by
Linux corporate customers. We see the MA IV as the mobile platform of choice for Linux users worldwide, and we intend to
maintain our leadership position in wearable solutions for all operating systems and enterprises.''

"BEOS has a lot to do to get their fundamentals in line with their stock price in my opinion. The volatility is fun, but I would never sleep with it at these levels. On a slow day, it would be worth about 3 bucks. I wish you luck with it. I just can't sleep with stocks like that".

Now if I swapped the ticker with that of RHAT the same would be true. This is not about financials as is obvious to the streets reaction to these two...it is about changing the old guard and in with the new. The mere changing of the guards and a new application surfacing, that is being accepted by the mainstream is fanfare currently. Basically the influx of a new technological medium for computer software/hardware and new operating system(s) languages will help dethrone the king, thats what the street is gambling on.
Will it pay off, well I think BEOS is well worth the gamble here, who knows you might be kicking yourself for not even picking up $100 litle shares now just to see how this all unfolds.
