Esteban, the time frame does matter. The logic is do you do nothing, add O or X (depending on direction) or reverse when this time period is over. Actually what would be neat is to preprint the current time bar and have the column look as it would if the bar ended with the current tick, maybe have the live column in a different color.

Kona is correct, the time frame does change the orientation of columns predicated on the rule that the column won't change direction if there is even one box in favor of the prevailing direction at the start of the time frame.

So you need a shorter time frame just to "anticipate" a possible change in the status of your trade. At the moment, I've been placing a one minute side by side with a five and minimizing a thirty for occasional viewing.

A Tick version might be nice, but I'm happy with it as it is at the moment.
