Also, a couple of months back, HDD had working capital of close to the value of the stock then. I forget the exact figure, but I think it was around $5.20/share of working capital. In other words, you got the company for about 40 cents/share when the stock dropped below $6.

Thanks for posting the advice on disk drive cycles. I've recently bought stock in HDD & MXTR. Should be good holdings in 2000. FWIW not long ago, I gleaned from the Gilder thread that a recent Gilder letter was positive on Quantum.

With super dog WDC doing nicely do you still see KMAG going out of business? I sure don't. Think it's a stellar buy here. Earnings out Tuesday, Thursday for MXTR.
