Yes, in "Scrooged", Bill Murray plays the CEO of a tv network that is mounting a live production of "A Christmas Carol". His secretary, played by Alfre Woodard, is the Bob Cratchit character; Karen Allen is the social worker whose love he lost through his obsession with making it; Carol Kane is the ghost of Xmas present; and supporting roles are filled with the likes of Robert Mitchum, Bobcat Goldthwaite, and Brian Doyle- Murray. It is actually the best retelling of "A Christmas Carol" that I have seen, and something guaranteed to warm the heart of a middle-aged hippie<VBG>.....
