Paul and any others,

<< So, SONY's PS2 will come to the aid of Intel ! >>

Speaking of game consoles, anyone have any heads up on the one I believe Intel and MSFT were working on to actually compete with SONY, Nintendo, etc? Is this still happening?

I play a little online games (prefer Motocross Madness at www.zone.com) and I have played all the new game systems. Personally, I like the PC game world now more than any other system for the first time ever (usually always preferred a TV system like Sega for gaming). It would be a GREAT idea if Intel/Msft could work out a way to play the SAME games interactively (on Internet) on either the PC OR a game console.

luckily, imo, Wintel is in yet another enviable position of having the chance to leverage their positions to a whole new but possibly Enormously lucrative world. and i'm not kidding. at the zone.com, i race motorcycles against people from France to Australia to Hong Kong and its great fun. i believe online gaming will get bigger and bigger...

cheers,
pigboy
