patricia,

When you donwloaded the file came into the directory you picked as cycode.zip

- Go to that directory (this is what I do) and create a new directory called cycode,
- move your zip file to the new dir,
- Unzip ALL files.
- Run the Setup program
- accept all defaults
- Now you can start the cycode program directly off of your Programs Menu, start it up
- simply type a mesage on teh Decoded Text side, press the encode button, enter your password for encoding, and voila! It's done!

Now just copy the Endoded message and paste to the wicked thread.

- for Decode, copy the encoded message to teh decode text (left side) hit decode, enter password, and voila...its there

Hope this helps...txl

in Windows 95 or 98 it is easier if you downloaded it to your desktop (c:\desktop). If it is not there then click on "start" then click on "run" and type in "explorer" (no""marks) and click "ok". Then click on the "tools" menu then hover over the "find" then click on "files or folders"

(Fill in Name) cycode.zip

(Look in) C

(search subdirectories) check with X

Then click on "find now" and the file should appear in the lower window. If you have already installed winzip then you can just double click on the file called cycode to install the program.
