I am curious how this deal would impact JDSU in any way? Greetings Ibexx! I haven't heard if Pirelli is a customer of JDSU or not. However, I would imagine that if Cisco can start producing these DWDM units like mad, purchasing the active and passive components from a one-stop shop like JDSU might make sense. I think this acquisition is good for the optical industry as a whole as it gives it even more clout. As the demand for optical solutions climbs, so will JDSU's sales!
