the dow weekly shows a rising wedge targeting 12K within the next couple of weeks. The weekly DMI supports this move. Once the Dow completes this move, which as Lee suggested, will probably be on the back of a few large stocks, the wedge should break to the downside. The Fed will have thus extricated themselves from blame, as the impending sharp correction will be associated with Y2K problems (as KIS suggested).

A bias would kill this market, and a raise is out of the question till the date rolls. Neutral is my vote, too (but I'm not offering to pay -g-).
