One of the questions asked last night was why are MCONY shares trading on such low volumes at such a low price.

ADRs such as MCONY represent multiples of the underlying equity shares on the home exchange, which in Marconi's case is the FTSE:MNI. To get a true read on the volume and price activity, you need to look at that exchange. I don't have the Financial Times or FTSE links handy, but I know they've been posted before.

ADRs are deceptive unless you know their construction, but in this case the ADR is a great way to get in before full recognition sets in and (of course) before Marconi lists on an exchange near us!
