CS news item
The following is a list of U.S. companies whose shares are
making significant gains or losses in European trading. The stock
symbol is in parentheses after the company name.

Cabletron Systems Inc. (CS) rose 1.2 euros to 27.2 in
Germany. The maker of computer-networking equipment that's lost
sales to Cisco Systems Inc. said its fiscal third-quarter net
income was 14 cents a share for the period ended Nov. 30, beating
estimates of 10 cents made by analysts polled by First
Call/Thomson Financial. Cabletron rose 1 1/4 to 27 1/4.
