FOMC Minutes

I don't see why they should not release their minutes a few days after the meetings

They should be released immediately. The more knowledge participants in the markets have the less distortion in asset prices.

Problems with releasing minutes is they would then have to be more careful and guarded in what they discuss. I would prefer the hawks and doves to get to make their points to the other Fed governors without worry that we would now need a score card of players to KNOW that this one is always more for a hike and this one is more for a cut.

IF we had the minutes, then we have to track each governor like a Wall$treetWeek elf and tally their thinking.

Jeepers, we could make it like following something really dull like baseball and have these leagues where we trade Fed Cards and see how our team of governors does against other fantasy teams. Heck, we could end speculation and release "FedCards" as the first official product of justabid.com!

what a concept! I hope I get royalties!

Hmmm? Could there be a start of a rotation out of the NAZ 100?
