BB choosing Bezos is a shame and disgrace to all the others who pioniered the issue of selling on the internet. Long before Bezos, there were internet retailers who sold computer parts and CD's.

Also I personally closed a $2.2 million and thereafter a $4.3 million in financing finding clients trough the internet in 1995/6, the date that I first posted my website was in early 1995, which since was not yet all updated. (my first internet deal April 1995)

Was this guy around then??

I am not so sure I remember reading about him raising VC well after I closed the financing without meeting in person any of the parties involved.

But that is life

Haim

>>Bezos on borrowed time?<<
If I had a penny for everytime I thought AMZN was a HUGH ripoff, I would have retired! Nonetheless, personal experience accounts for something. Reluctantly, I have to admit: these people get it right when you order something from them. That's based on my and my wife's personal experience around the holidays. Same cannot be said for MANY other on-line retailers (again, personal experience). I've acutally been thinking of buying some AMZN........
