MENLO PARK, Calif. (Dow Jones)--E*Trade Group Inc. (EGRP) will offer its
E*Trade Investment Kit through Amazon.com Inc. (AMZN).

In a press release Tuesday, E*Trade said the kit provides oline investing
information.

The product is available on the Amazon.com Web site as well as at hundreds of
Jewel-Osco and Harris Teeter retail outlets in the South and Midwest.

The suggested retail price for the kit is $49.99.

E*Trade provides electronic personal financial services.

Amazon.com is an Internet book retailer.

Two factors are wrestling in Amazon's ring: revenues vs. losses. 4Q earnings will determine which wins out for now. Until then, amzn action should be modest, imo.
