He has done something to the system that called him to the attention of the computer people, but I don't think he got that one thing he wanted-- last week he applied for a job as a computer person on call for students(they pay computer majors to do this) and when he talked to the person hiring, she knew who he was becuase of whatever he did; made him nervous. The funniest thing is that she said for him to fill out the online application, only that he would have to wait because it wasn't working right and he looked at it and said- oh- you have an error here in the text, and doggone if it didn't fix it. So she was impressed. Why would the drain make it so much slower for the New and yet have the old working same as always? I thought they were cutting us off, which is why I changed. But if what they give me is so slow that I time out my connection waiting for a post to come up, it's worthless during the trading day and of course, I want the old FASTER one. Something just seems screwy to me. If they are going to blame old SI, then they'd better be ready to provide a lot better service when they do cut the old off. Or everyone will think they've been deceived!!
