Rocket, I've collected 7 options books over the past couple of years and here's my 2¢. The two below are my favorites. Many folks like the Roth book, though I didn't. Didn't like Thomsett either. [For any Canadians out there, Exploring Options by C. Douglas Fox, from the Globe and Mail Personal Finance Library, is a great starter book (190 pages). Fox was a VP at TD Greenline.]

This is a very good book, particularly if you're new to options. Bittman is an instructor at the CBOE and does an excellent job of explaining options (see overview at the link).

This is widely regarded as the "Options Bible". If you only purchase one book, this is it. Not skinny (882 pages) but surprisingly readable and very, very good (see overview at the link).

I've only read one, and that's Harrison Roth's LEAPS. It's not too technical, and I really enjoyed it at the beginning of my options journey. It was recommended by edamo, who is very experienced and it's his favorite book I believe.
