dsl ran in fall and then slowed as profit taking kicked in...i think dsl may be rekindled once 2000 gets underway and all the dial up internet users want faster connections...broadband cable doesn't look like it's a mainstream available service so dsl looks poised to move into millions of homes and businesses in the year 2000-2003...cable internet may come along after that (fiber-coaxial) but the cable firms must spend heavily to build it out and there may be problems with neighborhood nodes on a cable system not able to support millions of users nationwide

the other movement is wireless broadband but looks like a few years off in the u.s. but may be deployed faster in europe and asia...more on that as we look closer at wireless broadband in january/february in our daily analysis

Check the CAIS board for a broadband company to investigate.
