can not view java programs(charts) on sites... what have I done?

Don't know the 'real' answer. My Dell laptop came with a CD marked as 'Microsoft Virtual Machine', containing some Java stuff. I stuffed this CD into the drive and after a couple of grunts it was all over: Java worked.

Maybe others who know more will fill in some details.

Another thingy to look at. Use Explorer and find some Java Script stuff in \WINDOWS\SAMPLES\WSH folder. (Windows Script Host) See if you can run the Java stuff found here.

Don't forget to click View, select Internet Options, Advanced tab, and put check marks in all the Java boxes.

Cheers, PW.
