Well, yes. I don't remember lots of respect for anyone, ever. This isn't a particularly respectful place. Although I do think there is a difference between attacking ideas and attacking people- not that it is wrong to attack people, sometimes WHO people are is part of the issue. As it is with Del. I think WHO he is -is a person who is on a mission to expose another aspect of belief- his belief in nothing- so he's a bit messianic. I suppose we all are in some way or other. I want more people to sit on the fence, to admit to not- knowing. I suppose I am a bit messianic about that. But we're here to disseminate our views- for the most part. Not to be polite. Or at least I think that's why most of us are here.
