Consider this. JP Morgan has not covered LU exclusively for a while. During the last quarter the time-tested and fact charged analysts like the ones from Sanford Bernstein, CSFB, Warburg Dillon Read and Gruntal all stood their bullish grounds and came out heroes. They have not waivered recently.
The fact that this JP Morgan analcyst has referred to the disparity of growth rates between Sept and Dec just shows how he is beating a dead horse. Everyone knows the lumpiness of Lucents quarters and how the company is trying to fix it.
No one ever refers to the Law of Large Numbers. Going from 10.5 Billion to 11.2 Billion is pretty darn good. You just cant compare that to someone going from 2 billion to 2.3 Billion.
