(1) is the password always the same?...if not...how do you know what it will be?..if so..what is it again?>>>

i will control that....it will go out in pm...and if i see or hear any leaks i will change it...and i hope to find out who did the leak....this is why i'm going to limit the number of people that get in...as time goes i can add more people in....

note: this is the way "I" want to do my postings..some may not like it....there are hundreds of threads on si and anyone can start their own.

I'll try to answer part of this for Tim. (Tim covered this part) My guess is that he will keep the same password until he thinks it might have been compromised, since it's a hassle to send out the new one via PM.

As far as using the decoder - just cut the untelligible test from the incoming message, paste it into the left box in cycode, click the decode button, it will then ask for the password - enter it - and if the password is correct you will see the decoded message in the right box. Try it with one of the previous test messages that was sent out.

Ben

(2) this might sound dumb.....do you cut and paste from here? if so how?

Using your mouse in the "usual" way, select the text you want to copy. When it is highlighted, hit "Ctrl-c". Click in the window where you want to paste, and hit "Ctrl-v".

Make sure you don't end up with leading or trailing blank spaces.

The password can vary. I'm sure Tim will come up with a password to use for his private calls.

Cut & Paste:

Highlight encrypted message from this board and cut.
Paste onto the left panel of the Cycode sheet.

The cut and paste commands are in the "Edit" mode. Click Edit and you will see the dropdown menu.
