[Netscape crashes several times each day].

I always had the same problem with Netscape till I switched to IE 5.0. I prefer Netscape but I need the stability as I have a lot of windows/java apps running.

Scalped GEEK afterhours for 5 1/4

I need your thoughts on OLBs. I have been buying a basket of them (along with NATS)over the past several days. I figure they will go up come middle to end of Jan. 2000. Any thinking by you on when they will take off? Will they be one of the last sectors to blast off?

Best regards, Bob

P.S. Thanks to you and others on this thread, it was another nice day. Entire portfolio up almost 5 % Now at over 627 k compared to 175 k at start of year. My Softbank (SFTBF) shares are filling in for the next run up or I would be higher. My thanks to RANDE IS and all of the regular posters on this great thread! I am amazed at how much I am learning each day from all of you about myself, the market, fear and greed.

Rande - I liked Netscape also but had to switch to Internet explorer for stability. World of a difference. The worst part of the switch was reorganizing my bookmarks.

Rande:

Hope this may be of help for your netscape crashes - it has been for mine:

The important Microsoft patch to Win98 to prevent Netscape crashes due to TCP/IP stack problems is at:
microsoft.com

and is called "Update for "Fragmented IGMP Packet" Security Vulnerability".

Don't know if it will work or not but worth a try. Jerry
