Don't feel bad...I bought COMS at 25, rode it to 20, rode it to 29, rode it to 25, rode it to 34; sold it. Then it went to 50+ (now 45). Hey, if you sell the stock for more than you bought it, you've made money, and that is more than most people do in individual stocks. (I keep telling myself that!!) I won't bore you with all my picks, from a year ago, that I sold for a very nice profit, only to see them shoot to the moon...WCII, PR, NSCP, NSM, AMTD, ANAD, EGRP, or the ones that I said I should buy about 4 months ago, like COVD, MCOM, WPNE, RHAT!!!(damn, I thought 45 or so was too much the day it went public, even though I use their products every day and know how good they are.)
Anyway, I'm trying to learn to hang on a little better, today. I like CS!!
Thanks Tim, and good luck to all.
As for the encryption, I suspect there is a better way, such as a chat room with a password. But, they have definite disadvantages, too, and they require that someone provide the bandwidth. I would volunteer, but I am still stuck with various dial-up accounts. Once I can get broadband, maybe I can do something to contribute; but, it will be at least 3 months, and probably 6 to 12 months before I can get broadband.
If all we are doing is standard encryption, if there are too many problems, maybe the solution is to go to another "brand" of encryption, like PKP (Public Key Encryption). I once took a course sponsored by Martin Hellman, who invented public key encryption, and there are many good public key encryption programs available, today, that support virtually all platforms. (I am running Linux and Windows 2000 on my machines. The suggested platform seems to work, ok, under Windows 2000, but I won't know, for sure, until tomorrow.)
Good luck to all, Ed
