Michael,
I saw it hit 28 and back off on the delayed quotes. I'm considering buying some more January calls. Hmmm, should I go on margin? I'm also thinking our estimates for the 12/31/99 close might not look so ridiculous now.

CNBC 12/21/99 - 5:40:41 PM .....you drew
trend line here from the old paebgs can you
see the beginning stages of break out here.
Although this is something what we call
lower low in this area. The very bullish thing
and in terms of time on this particular chart
is that this uptrend from these lows, remains
very early in my opinion. Ted: Okay. Shear
look now at the stock. Compaq one year.
Against the s&p. S&p is white compaq is in
yellow. >> We are seeing here is that this
latest upnick performance is what portfolio
managers and really growth managers want
to see in a stock relative to the market. We
are certainly starting to see a lot of uppaired
performance after very long period of
underperformance on the stock. Ted: So
from a target standpoint, what's your take on where this took is headed?
Can you give us price target 6 months to 9 months out? >> Sure over the
next 18 months the stock has very good opportunity to run up to 45 to 50
dollar level and why is that for two reasons the market loves technology
stocks but almost more than that, the market loves turn around type
stories and i think this what is happening with compaq Ted: Okay thank
you. Come back again ted: Our thanks to brian belski, technical analyst at
george k. Baum & company. Remember ted: Pc maker apple computer
has had success with the simple design of its imac computer. In fact, the
product has given apple's stock a boost. Now other pc makers hope .....

You forgot...Medroogies has been consistently right about this stock, but just posting infrequently. I could go back and pick the posts, but there are 2 things I called:
1. the next big volume day would push this sucker up (this was a gimme...as PCSS pointed out, it was wound so tight)
2. that once we firmly broke 26, we'd be on our way.....

as a result, Medroogies is sitting comfortably tonight, posting and watching TV, sipping fine wine and basking as he toots his own horn (toot, toot).

Once again, foresight and patience begin to pay off. Now, when CPQ hits 100 the way AAPL did, I'll be a truly happy man (just wish my wife didn't need that kitchen so badly that I sold at 58).
