Proceeds from the round will be used to increase staff, facilities and marketing efforts toward the commercial launch of Ensemble's innovative Fiberless(TM) system in the second quarter of 2000. New investors in the company's third round of financing include Digital Microwave Corporation, (Nasdaq: DMIC) a global supplier of microwave radio equipment, which led the round; Intel Corporation; and Korea Telecom Bank Venture Capital, whose leading investors include Samsung Corporation and Korea Telecom. All existing Ensemble investors -- Enterprise Partners, Institutional Venture Partners, Trinity Ventures, Crescendo Ventures and ADC Telecommunications -- also contributed additional capital.
