When I first thought about the COMS/Palm thing (thanks to Mr. P$nk for the idea), I thought that the combined businesses would translate to about $90 a share. That's a bit unrealistic in the short term! However, assigning a much lower multiple to the COMS core business, I think you can reasonably expect to see the equivalent of $60 per COMS share if you wait for the Palm distribution.

Of course, I could be seriously undervaluing Palm right now because the revenue streams from Nokia and Sony may be enormous - and palm is (thankfully) gunning for the software licensing model.

In the longer term however, I expect that my $90 (equivalent) target will be reached.

I'm buying a little more COMS here afterhours and I will buy on any significant pullback.
