Tim, my dislike for the coded messages etc. is not an attack or indicment of you. I have come to consider you a friend in recent weeks, especially since you have tried to become calmer and less emtional. It is simply that I have a deeply ingrained and intense distaste for secret codes, clubs, or groups. I think it will also turn away from the thread "new blood" and stop being a great help to newbies who "lurk" here, some who havent even joined si but read this thread daily as I once did for a period of time before I decided to join. I believe that we cant really affect the price action of a stock ourselves unless it is a VERY thinly traded stock such as Jaco and some others you have put out. Hence, I dont really see the need for secret coding, but can readily spot many down side aspects of such coding. My response to you is not meant to challenge you or to promote another unnecessary round of debate from other thread members as to whether we should or should not follow you on this issue. Should you decide after having tried encoding, that it wasnt really necessary and return to an open format, give me a shout and I will be happy to return(I will still be on si, just on other threads and perhaps Glenns thread as well). It has been my experience, with rare exception, that those on this thread are well behaved and well intentioned and I believe that an open thread promotes and invites that type of person to contribute. Good luck to you and again, I certainly have no beef with you, amigo!! Your Friend, Sam.
